Christina Haack, born on 7 July 1983, in Anaheim California. Her first job was the real estate industry. This is how she met her future spouse Tarek El Moussa. In 2008, following the crash of the stock exchange many investors in real estate and house flippers lost their money. As a result of the financial crisis, Tarek and Christina El Moussa almost lost everything. They went from a home that cost $6,000 per month, to a $750/month rental. The business grew slowly as well as the economy overall recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek asked a friend to aid him in making a HGTV audition tape, which featured his and Christina turning a house start to finish. The tape was in the hands of executives from a production company known as Pie Town Productions. They instantly fell in love with Tarek's and Christina's love story. They signed a contract in 2012 with HGTV. Flip of Flop was launched in April of 2013. Between 2013 and 2017 the show ran 92 episodes. The show's characters, Christina and Tarek would acquire properties, which are typically mid-income homes situated in Orange County, and would then proceed to spend several months making changes so that they could sell the home to make an income.
